YUPAD Fair - Sharing promising examples

YUPAD Fair was carried out in Brussels (May 31st, 2022) based on the previous research on participatory budgeting across Europe. This event served to showcase best practices of participatory budgeting as well as possibilities with Big Data. This showcase event gathered 10 partners and 10 practitioners with promising practices. The carried-out need analysis was synthesized into 10 videos, 2-3 minutes long each. These videos can be found on the following link. 

The following step will be to create a tailored platform that gathers input from young people on policy priorities, expected outcomes, and their preferences for concrete projects in a city. A survey will be conducted among young people, and the conclusions will allow for the piloting and preparation of the capacity-building activities among educators and local authorities.
