RD IKSD is responsible for issues of general education, culture, sports, youth work and social integration in Riga Municipality Functions of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of Riga City Council (ensure that children living in the administrative territory of the city of Riga receive pre-school education, primary education and general secondary education; implement work with youth;
• to organize the diversity of the cultural life of the city of Riga; to ensure the availability of sports and physical activities and the possibilities of implementing an active lifestyle; coordinate the society integration process in the city of Riga; organize the preparation of international project applications and their implementation in the Department’s areas of competence, including with Riga twin cities).
OPENS is an association of local youth organizations whose mission is to demonstrate, in collaboration with its partners, that there are many doors that can be opened for the transfer of energy, knowledge, experience, and information, and that the capacities of young people can be strengthened in this way. OPENS is a resource center dedicated to empowering young people and those who work with them, as well as youth organizations and organizations for young people. It educates the community and creates youth policy. It raises the capacities of young people, youth associations, and for young people through program activities, and it sensitizes the public and private sectors to youth issues.
Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is a Greek non-profit organisation committed to the promotion of innovation and the enhancement of the entrepreneurial spirit. As a state-of-the-art international organization, a certified Center of Excellence and a DIH, iED produces and transfers know-how, boosts entrepreneurial cognitive processes, and supports every entrepreneurial venture across Europe.
VMU is a comprehensive university devoted to excellence in teaching, learning, research, arts and innovation, and fostering critical thinking, imaginative response as well as the desire and capacity for lifelong learning of our students who will have an impact on the world, locally and globally.
